With the new mandate by the Federal Government requiring the switch from analog TV broadcasts to all digital broadcasts many people are wondering what choices they have. And by February 17, 2009 you better have it figured out or say bye to TV.
Most sites tell you that you can buy a new TV that uses digital signals only or you can purchase a converter box that converts from digital back to analog or you can purchase a contract with a cable or satellite TV company.
Choice #3:
But there is another alternative and that is Internet TV. It meets the mandated requirements of the federal government because it's already digital. There will be no added charges, purchases or interruptions with Internet TV.
I use Internet TV and disconnected my cable. At first it was out of necessity and later I had my TV turned back on but now I've shut it off for good. With Internet TV I can even get my local news and weather. There are just so many more stations I can view with Internet TV on my PC that it's not worth having my cable hooked back up again. Sports of all kinds and lots of it! One of my favorites is Black Belt TV. There are all kinds of martial arts matches and tournaments as well as movies. Remember the original Bruce Lee movies like Enter The Dragon?
I must admit that there is a small amount of rebelliousness to my decision to go with using Internet TV for my PC. In a small way it's kind of like "sticking it to The Man". The government is forcing everyone to purchase this and/or that but don't mention the fact that there's another choice. Perhaps they're not yet aware but one day there will be enough people using Internet TV on their PCs that a lot of people will be paying a small one time fee and watching a lot more television than those that choose to stay with the conventional cable/satellite TV.
So there you have it, one more choice that most can't tell you about. You can go with the purchase of another "converter box". Just one more "box" to stick in your entertainment center. Or you can go with cable/satellite TV. Satellite being notorious for a snowy picture or "ant races" as my friend calls them, anytime the weather is bad or the wind is blowing around the tree limbs. And I might add, a nice hefty price per month. Don't think that won't go up as February 17, 2009 rolls around. And of course with a contract from them you're going to The Dark Knight Curse monthly payments or no show. Or, you can make a one time purchase of the software that can get you literally thousands of internet TV channels and radio stations. You owe it to yourself to at least check out option #3 to see what the fuss is all about.
Good viewing all.

Are you interested in finding out more about how you can watch live satellite TV on PC? This technology made me really interested to find out more about it, yet I was very cautious and skeptical at the same time. I wanted to find people's opinions about this software, and whether there were any complaints about it.
1. What Is Live Satellite TV on PC?
Apparently, this software is able to use the internet to stream live television signals on a PC and display Sell structured settlement on the monitor screen. It has become widely popular around the web, and I eventually purchased it myself to see what it is like.
2. Why Do More People Want to Watch Television With Their Computers?
After installing and loading up the software, I found that there were over three thousand different international channels of different genres that I could choose from. This number is much larger than the ones offered by Syd Barrett local cable TV service provider. Till today, I have not gotten bored of this software since there are so many channels to choose from.
Also, the fact that computers with internet access are becoming a necessity in every household also makes this software even more popular. Even software giants like Microsoft have proclaimed that web TV is going to be the next wave in technology, and they have certainly supported their claims by building operating systems to accommodate web TV technology.
3. Are There Any Complaints Regarding Satellite TV on PC?
There are some issues that I can point out about this software which makes it less perfect. Not every channel can load quickly, and some may take up to a few minutes. They are not going to load within a split second, so it is not like switching between channels on a television set.
Overall, I Celexa say that I am very pleased with my decision to acquire this program. It has many advantages like non-recurring fees and an extremely wide selection of TV programmes and stations.
